Required Training Agreement Form
This agreement explains that certain roles require certifications or licenses beyond the company’s standard training, and that the company may choose to cover those costs. It outlines the conditions under which the company provides this financial assistance while clearly stating that it does not change the at-will nature of employment or guarantee continued employment.
It also establishes the employee’s responsibility to repay training or testing expenses if their employment ends within a defined timeframe. Repayment is based on the total cost of the training and is reduced on a prorated monthly basis depending on how long the employee remains employed after completing the training. The agreement authorizes payroll deduction from the final paycheck, within legal limits, and confirms that any remaining balance remains the employee’s responsibility.
